I'm a high school freshman runner, doing about 70ish miles
on high-mileage weeks and 50ish on the speed-workout weeks.
Although I don't use these for speed work outs (I use the
Green Silence, highly recommended by the way), I can say
that they are perfect in every way for those long runs and
recoveries. I have owned a pair of 10s, 2 pairs of 11s, and
now these, and I can say that these have somehow improved
perfection. They didn't mess with any key components that
made me fall in love with the shoe, but added more bells and
whistles to keep it up to date. Nothing can even compete.

I started using this brand a few years back after trying a
lot of brands like Asics, Mizuno, etc. I've settled on the
fact that Brooks is the best of those. I've had
Adrenaline's, Trance, even Beast at one point. I definitely
felt a difference in Brooks shoes in general at the time
they switched to "Bio" mogo. The Shoes seemed less
responsive and didn't cushion as well. But with these new
Adrenaline's, they've definitely made some kind of
improvement to the midsole and it feels like the older
styles I used to buy several years back, before the Bio
versions were introduced. I've run in them several times now
and I'm running longer, with improved times. So far they
have been great. I like the new colors too. I bought the
silver and green ones, which should show less dirt.

I bought this shoe after trying it on at a local store. It
is a terrific running shoe. I'm not a runner but do run on
occasion. I prefer group classes and found that my foot
moves around too much in this shoe for step or basic
"aerobic" classes. During a recent 5K I found this shoe to
remain comfortable, my foot did not slip forward, and I
found my gait to be pretty straight. It is also comfortable
on the treadmill and stair-stepping machine. Basically,
going forward this is a great shoe, not so much going
side-to-side (but that's not really what it is for). I like
this shoe for running so much that I purchased a child's
pair for each of my daughters (6 & 8) who run track. They
joined me on the above-mentioned 5K and had a great
experience with their shoes.

I chose these to accommodate my custom orthotic inserts &
provide arch support and stability for plantar fasciitis. I
did not want a shoe that over-stabilizes, with a wider base.
Rather, I wanted a shoe that still provided some flexibility
of movement along with excellent support. These provided all
of the above. The excellent product coupled with amazing
price made this one of the best purchases I've ever made.
Delivery was fast too.

I really enjoy the comfort and fit of these. I have walked a
marathon and numerous half marathons, along with 5 & 10K's.
This last pair is a little narrow in the toe area. I am
thinking about having them stretched before the San
Francisco Half Marathon next month. They work ok for short
distance like 5-6 miles, but anything longer and I may find
myself in trouble. While training, I do about 24 to 30 miles
a week. I am a walker, I finish, it just takes me a little
longer. I love walking.
